MEPS 2026 – Potential for Greater Participation in the Global Economy
3–4 November 2026 · Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and Institute of Economic Sciences, Belgrade
Invitation to the Third Annual Conference “International Economic Position of Serbia – MEPS 2026”
Dear Sir or Madam,
We are pleased to invite you to the Third Annual Conference “International Economic Position of Serbia – MEPS 2026: Potential for Greater Participation in the Global Economy”, which will be held on 3 and 4 November 2026 in Belgrade, organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and the Institute of Economic Sciences.
At a time when changes in global trade, geopolitical uncertainty and new forms of international economic cooperation are shaping companies’ business decisions, it is increasingly important to understand where the opportunities lie for strengthening the international competitiveness of the Serbian economy. This year’s conference opens a discussion on how domestic companies can make better use of access to foreign markets, improve their export capacity and find new opportunities to join international value chains.
Over the two days of the programme, we will discuss institutional support for the internationalisation of the economy, companies’ experience in foreign markets, Serbia’s competitiveness in the digital economy, and international trade and investment relations.
A special part of the first day’s programme will be the interactive World Café session, where participants will have the opportunity to share experience, ask specific questions and discuss business opportunities in the markets of Europe, Asia and Australia, Africa, and North and South America.
We believe that the conference will be an opportunity for valuable expert discussions, for connecting representatives of companies and institutions, and for exchanging ideas that can help improve the international business of the domestic economy.
